In a Reiki session, the practitioner is seeking to transmit Universal Life Energy to the client, thus stimulating your body’s natural healing abilities. The intention is to create deep relaxation, to help speed healing, reduce pain, and decrease other symptoms you may be experiencing. Reiki is a hands-on healing system that is deeply rooted in Eastern traditions, from Buddhism to the martial arts. In addition to transmitting universal life energy through their hands, the practitioner will use the power of crystals to aid in specific issues or concerns that client may have.
Each crystal has a specific vibratory frequency, which is unchangeable. People vibrate at varying levels and frequencies as well. When a person is in good health, it is considered that they arevibrating at an optimal level or frequency. When they’re in poor health, they’re not. Theirvibrations are not in harmony and are disrupting function. We can work with the vibrations of crystals that are resonant with the states we’reseeking to achieve by entraining our vibrations with theirs, or we can work with crystals that can transfer the energy we need to positively impact our systems. Simply put, there's a variety of crystals that can aid in bringing relief to a variety of medical conditions. Your practitioner will determine your specific needs to choose the most beneficial crystals for you.
During your session you will lie on a massage table, fully clothed, under or over a blanket, listening to soothing music. Your practitioner will place crystals on your body, at your feet, and, possibly, give you some crystals to hold. You may hear some chimes, crystal bowls sounds, or bells, all directed at optimizing your vibrations and clearing your subtle bodies. Your practitioner will place hands on or above your body, starting from your head and working way down to your feet. Each session is different and more or less time at each body part may be required. You will never be touched on the private parts of your body. Please let your practitioner know if you have any questions or concerns about anything regarding your procedure. For those with a past trauma, lying quietly in a dim room with someone close to you might be uncomfortable. 1 hour session.
