Introduction to Painting - Beginner Basics with Acrylics, Adults, Mondays, 7-9 pm

Introduction to Painting with Acrylics.

Class is designed for adults with no prior drawing or painting knowledge. If you have ever been curious to explore your creativity in a relaxed yet structured and encouraging environment, this is the place for you! We will start from square one and build a solid foundation to get you set up for success on your creative journey.

Using Acrylic paint, you will explore the fundamental elements of painting (Color, Form, Value, and Line) and develop your own personal style and creative voice. You will be encouraged to explore styles and subject matters which excite and inspire you. You’ll learn to engage in constructive critique of your work, the work of your fellow classmates, and to think critically about your creative process.
