Drawing People for Beginners (Beginners 17 y/o and up)

Learn how to draw people—bodies, faces, and character—in this interactive and light-hearted class. From simple and silly shapes, to realism, to finding your own stylistic voice, this class gives an enriching first look into what drawing people holds. Instructor: Mila Jo

Syllabus

Introduction to movement: learning to scribble and find movement in drawing
The human figure: basics of anatomy (broken down) and all of its interpretations 
The human face: basics of the human face as tips and tricks
Portrait rotation: everyone's favorite activity by the end of the class!

Materials required for the class: any form of paper, just a lot of it (newsprint, sketchpad, or printer paper on a clipboard is good)! B2, B4 or B6 sharpened pencil, and kneaded eraser if available.
