Pottery class for a complete beginner.
No refunds or changes can be made 48 hours before the class time. All the basics of wheel throwing will be explored.We go over wedging clay and making a bowl or two on the very first class. We trim our pots on the second night, then make more on the third, glaze on the fourth. You are welcome to come glaze your leftover pots two weeks after your last class during you regular practice hour. At the end of the class you'll have three or four finished bowls.
Great class to get an initial experience of working with clay and make some gifts for loved ones. What's included: class clay, up to 20 lbs of firing, practice time one hour before the class. Most people repeat this course two to three times before enrolling into intermediate class or membership program.
