This course is designed for students with previous wheel throwing experience. You are expected to know how to wedge, center, and pull your clay, although instructor will give you pointers if you are not sure. This class is ongoing and focuses on wide range of projects and methods used. In this class we use englobes, oxides, underglazes, make intricate shapes or whatever you've seen on Pinterest - bring it in! Very friendly crowd, often bringing food and drinks to the class. Prerequisite: taking one or more of our beginning classes. If you are coming from another studio, we strongly recommend that you take our beginning class before taking any of the intermediate classes. This is a very advanced class.
The price is $310 for eight weeks.bisque firing, and glazes. You will buy your own clay (from us or elsewhere -- cone 10 clay) and pay $1 per pound for glaze firing.
Instructor: Ki Cho . Youtube: ki cho pottery
Due to COVID19 pandemic we are required to make certain changes: practice time only one hour before the lesson, if you miss a class you will not be able to make it up due to the strict number of people in each class, and everyone should buy their own tools (from us or elsewhere). Kempter tool kit is what we recommend, which we have for $25 cash.
