Introduction to Watercolor - A Meditative Journey, Adults, Wednesdays, 7-9 pm

Find your creative flow with this meditative exploration into the world of watercolor. Ideal for adult students looking for a gentle introduction to a new medium. You'll learn the basic techniques needed to use watercolor with confidence in a calm and supportive small class environment. A more delicate painting technique than oil or acrylic, watercolor helps you to slow down and stay present with its beautiful swirling pools of color. You’ll enjoy the smooth glide of your brush against the soft texture of the paper as the stress of the world outside melts away.

If this is your first time picking up a brush and you’d like a more structured experience, we recommend joining ourIntroduction to Painting course. There you'll learn all of the basics for developing a painting from concept to completion. If you already have some drawing or painting experience or you are a beginner who is eager to engage your creativity in an exploratory setting, this is the place for you!
